About the Company: Bupa Dental Care is a leading provider of NHS and private dental services with over 450 practices across the UK and Ireland.
Case Study Details: After many years of growth via acquisitions, Bupa Dental Care needed to rationalise their IT estate spread over 450+ practices.
Complete IT upgrades were to be carried out at all practices to provide a single uniform IT system. The upgrades consisted of new diverse lines, networking hardware, network cabling, cabinets, Wi-Fi, PC’s, printers and telephony.
As a long standing partner, Data-Path were chosen to carry out the network cabling, cabinet and networking hardware element of the project. Working closely with Bupa, Data Path completed the project in 24 months, with fourteen team members working on the roll-out full time.
All cabling and cabinet upgrades were carried out on night shifts to avoid disturbing the practices and causing downtime.
