About the Company: Somerset County Council (established in 1889) is the county council of Somerset in the South West of England.
Case Study Details: SCC’s call centre was moved out of County Hall to Wellington House in Taunton. To provide the call information displays in various locations, an Aten HDBaseT solution was implemented. An Aten 8×8 matrix was fitted in the server room, with Cat6 cabling deployed to each screen around the contact centre. HDBaseT converters were fitted behind each to convert the video feed back to HDMI.
The solution was setup with various inputs, that could be remotely managed and updated as required by SCC’s IT team.
